INTERIOR FURNISHING OF SPACES

The interior furnishing of a space, be it a house or an apartment, is a special challenge. It is particularly important to get to know the clients, their way of life, their wishes, and requirements that can guide us in finding the best solutions.

WHAT WILL THE FURNISHING OF A HOUSE OR AN

APARTMENT BE LIKE?

We are always led by an awareness that each space matters, and that they all together must function as a whole. Through an initial extensive conversation with a client, we find out all we can about their habits, family members, their perception of aesthetics, and their ideas about interior design. That is how we plan the chosen design for a house or apartment.

As interior design architects, we know that the kitchen is the heart of any living space. Its proportions, colours, and the selection of materials make it unique and customised to the client. The dining and living rooms are the spaces where family members and friends gather. They are the spaces where emotions are born and memories are written.

The interior design of a bathroom has long surpassed just a shower and bathtub; we want to create a space for relaxation and to recharge our energy. The bedroom is the space to find peace, read, enjoy....

HOW DO WE FURNISH INTERIOR SPACES?

1

CONCEPTUAL PLAN / LAYOUT PLACEMENT OF SPACES

In the conceptual plan, the interior furnishing architect or the interior designer creates the space and places the walls to best capture beautiful views, and so that moving around the space can be as smooth as possible. The task of the interior furnishing architect is therefore not merely to choose beautiful furniture, but to design the entire space so that it will complement the selected interior furnishing. Usually, the client is presented with 2-3 different layouts, and the right one is decided on later.

2

CHOOSING FLOORING

Suitable flooring is one of the factors influencing how we live in a space. The selection today is immense: hardwood floor, parquet, terrazzo, polished concrete, tile, etc.

3

CHOOSING CERAMIC SANITARY WARE AND FIXTURES

In the catalogue of the ceramic sanitary ware the client can see selected fixtures and types of ceramic sanitary ware that best fit their interior design aesthetic. Be it the simplest round shapes or geometric designs, what matters is that we capture the main idea and guide it through the entire interior design process.

4

CHOOSING AND PLANNING LIGHTING IN THE DECORATION

OF A HOUSE OR APARTMENT

The interior design architect chooses the light fittings that best fit the atmosphere of the space. The light fittings are presented to the client in the lighting catalogue, and we also prepare a detailed lighting plan.

5

A COLLAGE OF INTERIOR FURNISHING AND MATERIALS /INTERIOR DESIGN IN A 3D PRESENTATION

We use drawings and a collage of interior furnishing, colours, and materials to present the interior design project to the client. For better visualisation, we can also create a 3D presentation of individual spaces.

6

DETAILED PLANS

All the outlined interior furnishing includes detailed plans for carpentry, glass, and other craft works.

7

FURNITURE – CHOOSING

According to the interior design of the apartment or house, we also pick the suitable furniture: sofas and beds of various materials and textures, table and chairs, and chests of drawers that all fit the chosen design. The client receives all the information on the stores where they can buy the chosen furniture.

8

WALL COVERINGS

We also plan wall coverings suitable for the space, such as wood, weathering steel, tapestries, and brick, or we leave the walls bare and choose the artworks to decorate them.

9

CHOOSING TEXTILES

Interior design would not be complete without the appropriate textiles that will complement the selected furniture.
